Kolkata, Oct. 30 -- Akshat Malik has taken charge as the new senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) of the Howrah Division, Eastern Railway. Previously, he served as the Deputy Chief Commercial Manager (PM) for Eastern Railway. Rahul Ranjan managed the position of senior Divisional Commercial Manager in the Howrah Division for two-and-a-half years.
During his tenure, the Howrah Division of Eastern Railway was awarded twice by the Railway Board for high earnings. Recently, Rahul Ranjan was transferred to Akshat Malik's former position as Deputy Chief Commercial Manager (PM). On Thursday, the commercial department of the Howrah Division organised farewell for Rahul Ranjan and welcomed the newly-appointed officer to the post, Akshat Malik.
