Etawah, Aug. 28 -- Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday met party workers and people in Saifai on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and launched a sharp attack on the BJP govts at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh, accusing them of failing to address inflation, women's safety, farmers' concerns and education.
Speaking to the media, Yadav said that if the Samajwadi Party returns to power, women's protection, security, dignity and health would be among its key priorities.
He said the party would take policy decisions aimed at improving the condition of women and ensuring their empowerment with dignity.
