New delhi, April 3 -- Delhi Police have arrested two men and apprehended a juvenile for allegedly stabbing a 20-year-old man to death following a quarrel in north-west Delhi.

Police said a PCR call reporting a stabbing was received at Shalimar Bagh police station on April 2. The victim, identified as Nikki alias Nitesh (20), was found critically injured near Haiderpur Nahar and rushed to Dr BSA Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

A case was registered and multiple teams were formed to trace the assailants. During the investigation, officers relied on local intelligence and technical surveillance to identify the suspects.

Preliminary findings suggest the murder stemmed from a quarrel that escalated into a violent attack. The accused - Karan alias Tarun (18), Monty (22), and a juvenile - allegedly assaulted the victim, with Karan said to have stabbed him multiple times.

Acting on leads, police launched a search operation and apprehended all three within four  hours of the incident.

During interrogation, the accused allegedly confessed to their involvement, officials said, adding that the sequence of events and circumstances leading to the quarrel are being verified.

Police credited swift response, coordinated efforts, and use of intelligence inputs for cracking the case quickly.

The accused are in custody, and further legal proceedings are under way, while investigators are also examining any prior dispute between the parties.
