Kuala Lampur, Sept. 7 -- For paddy farmers, timing matters. When fertiliser arrives late, the problem is not simply about waiting for a delivery. Farmers have crops to manage, costs to cover and a farming cycle that continues regardless of delays. This is why the recent delay in fertiliser supplies to paddy farmers in Kedah has raised concern.

Much of the attention has been placed on the delay and the supply process. Yet, it is also important to consider the farmers who are directly affected. When an expected supply does not arrive on time, farmers need to know what is happening, why the delay has occurred and when they can expect the fertiliser. Without clear information, it becomes difficult for them to plan their next steps.
