Kuala Lampur, Oct. 1 -- Cameron Highlands has followed me through different stages of my life.

My earliest memories are from childhood, when I visited with my family and on school trips. Back then, Cameron Highlands meant cold mornings, winding roads, strawberries, tea plantations and colourful flowers. As the road climbed higher and the air became cooler, it felt as though we were travelling somewhere completely different.

As I grew older, my relationship with Cameron Highlands changed.

Once I was able to drive, I started making my own trips there. Sometimes I went with friends. Sometimes I went alone. Instead of rushing through a short holiday, I preferred staying longer and enjoying the place at my own pace.
