KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 28 -- Transport Minister Anthony Loke has directed the Land Public Transport Agency (Apad) to open an investigation into Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) following repeated disruptions to the Aerotrain service at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
In a statement released today, Loke said that during the initial stage of Aerotrain operations, the ministry had acknowledged MAHB's need for time to adapt, as the service was in its early adjustment phase.
However, after several months of operation, he stressed that the government would no longer tolerate ongoing service interruptions.
"The Ministry, through Apad, will take strict action against MAHB for every service disruption that occurs," he said.
