KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 31 -- A chicken slaughtering and processing warehouse in Puchong, raided under Ops Taring Chiller yesterday, is believed to have operated for 20 years.

Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department Wildlife Crime Bureau/Special Intelligence and Investigation (WCB/PSK) commander Datuk Mohd Zaki Ashar said investigations identified the warehouse owner as a 34-year-old local man.

"Check results showed this fresh chicken slaughtering and processing warehouse has operated for roughly 20 years.

"Investigations also revealed that the warehouse owner is a 34-year-old local man, and further investigations into the matter will be continued by the Halal Enforcement Division of the Selangor Islamic Religious Departmen...
