SINGAPORE, May 11 -- An 18-year-old cosplayer accused of assaulting convicted child sex offender Amos Yee at an anime convention in Suntec Singapore has been charged with assault and being a public nuisance.
According to The Straits Times, Bosco Chun Ho Wang appeared in court via video link from the Central Police Division today and was accused of committing the offences at about 2pm on Saturday.
Court documents stated that Chun allegedly punched and kicked Yee, 27, but did not state why he allegedly attacked him.
Chun was also accused of being a public nuisance by shouting, punching and kicking Yee.
He was offered bail of S$5,000 (RM19642.50), with his case fixed for mention on June 2.
