KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 16 -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the government will explain how it plans to tackle violence in schools tomorrow, as concerns heightened over the spate of violent incidents involving students.
"I have met the minister and a few people, tomorrow we will announce our decision," he told reporters after addressing the 2025 Asean Energy Ministers Summit here.
Anwar suggested yesterday that he could instruct Cabinet ministers to consider strict regulation on social media use at the next weekly Cabinet meeting, as he blamed the series of violent incidents in schools on unchecked use of social media.
