KOTA KINABALU, Oct. 8 -- Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) is set to potentially field the son of former deputy president Datuk Ellron Angian, who broke ranks to remain with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), against him.

Jordan Jude Ellron was declared a candidate in the upcoming elections during a ceremony with STAR president Datuk Jeffrey Kitingan last night, although the exact seat he will contest has yet to be confirmed.

"Either Sook, Tulid or Nabawan," Kitingan told Malay Mail.

Ellron is the incumbent for Sook, while Datuk Flovia Ng - who also left STAR - is the incumbent for Tulid.

Jordan has said he hopes to contest the Tulid seat, where he feels most comfortable and prepared.

All three seats fall within the Pensiangan parliament...
