Kuala Lampur, Sept. 8 -- KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 - Rapid KL will begin phased track replacement works on the Kelana Jaya Line from Sunday, with affected stations starting services at 9.30am on designated Sundays instead of the usual 6am.

The works involve replacing existing tracks with new ones, along with related maintenance activities to ensure the line's infrastructure remains safe and reliable.

The track replacement will be carried out in seven phases and is expected to be fully completed by September 2027.

Rapid KL said areas with long curved track sections require more time for replacement, with works on the specified dates extending into the morning to allow the work to be completed properly.
