KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 25 -- The MRT Putrajaya line is experiencing disruption due to a signalling system issue since this morning, just a day before the 47th Asean Summit officially begins.

The first alert of the MRT Putrajaya line service disruption was posted on Rapid KL's Facebook page at 6.21am today.

In multiple announcements and updates on its official Facebook page since this morning, Rapid KL's rail operator Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd said that trains are currently being manually operated between Kwasa Damansara and Putrajaya Sentral stations, and may experience longer stops at each station.

"Free shuttle bus services are provided for passengers' convenience.
