MIRI, Oct. 10 -- A 64-year-old man was found dead in front of his house in Marudi in the early hours of Sunday.

District police chief DSP Nor Aizan Mohd Jamil said police had received a report on the incident.

"The case has been classified as sudden death," he said when contacted.

According to a source, the deceased had attended a dinner in Marudi town the previous night and was sent home by a friend at around 11pm.

At around 6am on Sunday, passers-by spotted a man lying face down in front of the house and contacted paramedics from Marudi Hospital, who arrived within minutes.

The paramedics later confirmed that the man had died. - The Borneo Post
