KOTA KINABALU, Aug. 13 -- The Sabah Environment Action Group (SEAG) is seeking a clarification from City Hall (DBKK) over claims that food vendors are selling packed meals at the Kayu Madang landfill.

This follows a social media post circulated widely, which prompted members of the public to reach out to SEAG for clarity on the matter.

The post, which appeared on the Instagram page sabah.info, suggested that food vendors were selling packed food at the landfill and asked whether anyone wished to place an order.

In a statement Thursday, SEAG hoped City Hall could clarify whether this was indeed taking place at the municipal landfill, located in the KKIP area, which serves not only Kota Kinabalu but also neighbouring municipalities, incl...
