JOHOR BAHRU, April 2 -- Police will seek to extend the remand order for three family members, including a teenager, arrested for allegedly disseminating TikTok content that insulted Islam and the Johor royal institution.

Johor police chief Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad said the current remand for the two women and one man, aged between 17 and 49, ends tomorrow.

"So far we have received up to three police reports in Johor regarding this case," he told reporters at the Johor police contingent headquarters here today. 

He said an extension of three to four days is needed to complete the investigation, which is based on at least three police reports lodged in the state.
