JOHOR BAHRU, April 2 -- Police have crippled a drug trafficking syndicate following two raids here on Monday and Tuesday, arresting six individuals and seizing various narcotics worth RM1.24 million.
Johor police chief Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad said the suspects - four local men, one Singaporean man, and one local woman, aged between 31 and 60 - were arrested in separate operations in Taman Megah Ria and Taman Sri Tebrau.
He said the syndicate, believed to have been active since October 2025, used a gated apartment as a storage and repackaging centre before distributing the drugs to local entertainment outlets.
