Johor Jaya's Pakatan debutant bets on youth vote to shape state's future
Kuala Lampur, July 4 -- JOHOR BAHRU, July 4 - Pakatan Harapan's (PH) Johor Jaya candidate Lee Wern Yiing believes young voters will play a decisive role in shaping Johor's future at the upcoming state election.
The 30-year-old first-time candidate said the younger generation's votes would be crucial in determining the state's direction.
"Young voters need to be aware of this and, hopefully, they can play a role as they are more exposed to information and technology.
"I am confident that the Johor Jaya voters, including the young, will be wise in making their decision," she said when met briefly during a campaign walkabout in Taman Johor Jaya here today.
