KOTA TINGGI, June 1 -- Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the upcoming Johor election will not affect the dynamics of the unity government, despite the different governments at the state and federal level.

He said this is because the period of political domination is over and presently it is a new political era.

"The unity government is still there. We just have to accept the fact that the current situation is not the same as before.

"In the present new era of politics, it is not possible for any single party or coalition to dominate both.
