KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 15 -- The RON95 petrol subsidy quota for full-time eHailing drivers has now been increased to 600L. This was announced through a brief statement from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) Monday.

Previously, the same 300L quota applied to all Malaysian citizens with an active driving licence, including eHailing drivers.

The statement stated that over 53,900 full-time eHailing drivers have been identified through a verification process that was done via a collaboration between MoF and the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD).
