India, Dec. 21 -- In 2025, the sneaker culture in India was booming. It moved effortlessly from airport lounges to art openings, between generations and from celebrity wardrobes to the closets of founders, stylists, and the OG sneakerheads who were ahead of the movement all along. The sneaker, once coded as casual, has been recast as cultural shorthand: for global fluency, for youth, for a new understanding of luxury in footwear.
