India, March 13 -- How many hours of sleep is healthy? What are the ideal sleeping hours? One of the things that everyone always says they need more of, but nobody ever seems to get, is sleep. From doom scrolling at night, to the alarm clocks that wake us up too early, and finally a misplaced sense of pride that many people take from being able to get by on minimal amounts of sleep, the general consensus is that sleep is a nicety, not a necessity. The end result is a population that is consistently tired and thinks it is normal even when we spend thousands of rupees on high-end gadgets that record our sleep duration.
