India, April 22 -- Chinese watchmaking is breaking new ground - and young independent marque Fam Al Hut is leading the charge.

Fam Al Hut is an extremely young brand, but when it launched its debut wristwatch, the Mobius Mark 1, in 2025, it quickly became one of the most talked-about independent watchmakers. That ascent has only accelerated since it was thrust into the limelight after receiving the prestigious Audacity Prize at the 25th Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve for its Mobius timepiece, followed more recently by its recognition as a finalist in this year's coveted LVMH Watch Prize for Independent Creatives.
