Gandhinagar, Oct. 10 -- Minister of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday highlighted Gujarat's emerging role as a key driver of India's development in semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, modern logistics, and clean energy.
Gujarat is a hub of semiconductors, electronics and logistics, which will make India a leader in the direction of making it a developed nation by 2047, he said, according to a release by the Ministry of Railways.
The Minister noted that Rs 1,25,000 crore has been invested in Gujarat's semiconductor and electronics ecosystem, citing major projects such as Tata Electronics in Dholera, Micron in Sanand, and plants of CG Power and KEC, according to ANI.
