Union Government Sanctions Rs 3,473 Crore for Rural Housing in Rajasthan Under PMAY-G
Jaipur, Aug. 18 -- Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan handed over approval for 2,89,355 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in Rajasthan, involving an outlay of Rs 3,473 crore.
The approval letter was handed over to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma during a state-level PMAY-G programme in Baran. Chouhan also approved Rs 340.59 crore for agricultural development and the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (PM-RKVY).
