Sweet Biscuits Exports From India Jump 128% Over Five Years To USD 412.6 Million
New Delhi, May 27 -- Sweet biscuits exports from India more than doubled over the last five years to USD 412.6 million in 2025-26 as compared to USD 180.6 million in 2020-21, as per data released by Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Africa has emerged as an important market for India's sweet biscuit exports. The ministry said that the trends reflect expanding trade partnerships and growing demand for Indian food products across fast-growing consumer economies.
"The increasing presence of Indian sweet biscuits across African markets highlights deepening commercial engagement and the strengthening of India's value-added food exports in emerging regions," it noted.
