New Delhi, May 14 -- Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma launched the Rs 189.79 crore Mizoram Ginger Mission, a convergence-led initiative aimed at strengthening ginger cultivation, processing, value addition and exports in the state.

Anchored by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), the mission has been developed in collaboration with the Ministries of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Rural Development and Food Processing Industries, along with NABARD, ICAR, APEDA and private sector stakeholders.
