New Delhi, July 29 -- Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) posted their highest-ever consolidated net profit of Rs 10,177 crore in FY 2025-26, while key financial indicators including deposits, loans, credit-deposit ratio, net worth and capital adequacy improved, according to data from NABARD.

The information was provided by Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance Pankaj Chaudhary in the Rajya Sabha.

RRBs' total deposits increased to Rs 7,68,621 crore in FY26 from Rs 7,13,800 crore in FY25, while loans outstanding rose to Rs 5,78,349 crore from Rs 5,24,163 crore.
