New Delhi, April 10 -- Qatar has reaffirmed its commitment to remain a dependable energy partner for India, even as geopolitical tensions disrupt global fuel markets. Qatar's Energy Minister Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi conveyed this assurance during talks with India's Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in Doha.
Both sides welcomed the two-week ceasefire announced on April 8 and stressed the need for an early restoration of stability in global energy markets. They underlined the importance of ensuring 'unimpeded freedom of navigation' and smooth global trade flows to maintain supply chains, PTI reported.
