New Delhi, June 8 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated, dedicated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over Rs 18,800 crore in Surat, Gujarat, spanning the road, power, industrial and healthcare sectors.

The projects are aimed at strengthening infrastructure, improving connectivity, supporting industrial growth and enhancing public services in Gujarat. Addressing a gathering in Surat, Modi said the initiatives would contribute to economic development while improving the ease of living for citizens.
