New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal launched the curtain raiser for Bharat Buildcon 2026 on Thursday, expressing confidence that India's exports will exceed last year's figures while announcing new trade opportunities with developed nations.
Speaking at the event in New Delhi, Goyal stated that the government is committed to protecting domestic industry from unilateral actions by foreign countries and called on sector representatives to identify areas requiring alternative markets.
The Commerce Ministry is actively engaging with global partners to create new trading opportunities, he said.
