New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated the 89th International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) General Meeting, held from 15 to 19 September at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
He highlighted that high-quality manufacturing standards help reduce costs, promote safety, encourage reusability and sustainability, and enhance India's global competitiveness.
The meeting brings together over 2,000 experts from more than 100 countries to discuss international standards aimed at fostering a sustainable, all-electric, and connected world.
