New Delhi, May 8 -- Public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) have stated that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel in Odisha, following reports of temporary fuel unavailability in some parts of the state.
According to the companies, certain bordering districts witnessed an unexpected rise in demand for fuel during the initial days of the month, leading to temporary supply pressure at a few retail outlets.
OMCs said coordinated steps were immediately initiated to restore supplies, including the deployment of additional tank trucks to accelerate transportation and replenishment of fuel stocks across affected locations.
