Odisha, Aug. 4 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has officially announced that the land acquisition process for a major steel plant in Keonjhar district has been completed.
This development is seen as a significant milestone in boosting industrial growth in the mineral-rich region of Odisha.
The steel plant project is being led by ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), which is a joint venture between global steel giants ArcelorMittal and Japan's Nippon Steel.
The plant, to be located in the Patna tehsil of Keonjhar, is expected to bring large-scale employment opportunities and enhance the region's infrastructure and economy.
