NTWB Deliberates on Trader Welfare, MSME Finance and Export Promotion
New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- The National Traders' Welfare Board (NTWB) reviewed measures to strengthen trader welfare, improve Ease of Doing Business, enhance access to finance, promote digital empowerment and boost exports at its 11th meeting in New Delhi.
The meeting, chaired by NTWB Chairman Sunil J. Singhi, discussed issues concerning GST, MSMEs, trader grievance redressal, digital platforms and institutional support for traders, retailers, manufacturers, exporters and service providers.
On MSMEs and finance, members discussed the inclusion of traders in MSME facilitation committees, a proposal for a centralised loan portal with 30-day timelines, reforms in the CIBIL score mechanism and establishment of traders' grievance helplines.
