New Delhi, May 4 -- Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari reviewed a series of proposed high-speed and high-density national highway corridors in Maharashtra, with a focus on expediting infrastructure development and improving regional connectivity.
During the review meeting, the Minister assessed multiple strategic projects, including six-laning of the Nagpur Bhandara and Pune Satara stretches, as well as four-laning works on the Taloda Burhanpur section.
Key inter-state and economic corridors such as Durg Gadchiroli Mancherial, Nagpur Hyderabad, Gwalior Nagpur, and Gadchiroli Kanker (Raipur Visakhapatnam) were also discussed, alongside upgrades to the Bhandara Raipur and Nagpur Amravati routes.
