New Delhi, April 20 -- The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has trained over 2,500 traditional artisans under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme in the use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance productivity, market access and business capabilities.

The programme aligns with the government's "AI for Social Good" vision and represents a significant step towards integrating grassroots artisans into India's emerging digital economy.

The training was conducted through hands-on sessions tailored to local contexts, enabling artisans to understand and apply AI tools in practical scenarios.
