New Delhi, July 2 -- The Madhya Pradesh government is planning to develop 81 new industrial areas across the state to create a larger land bank for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with the aim of expanding industrial activity and generating local employment.

State Plans Industrial Areas Across Districts

The MSME Department has initiated the process of securing the transfer of government land in various districts for the proposed industrial estates. Of the 81 planned industrial areas, five have already been approved and development work is underway.
