New Delhi, March 5 -- The Union government has set up an Inter-Ministerial Group (IMG) on Supply Chain Resilience to ensure that trade is least affected in the wake of ongoing conflict in West Asia and Middle East triggered by joint US-Israel military operations against Iran.

The move followed a meeting held on March 2, 2026 by the Special Secretary of the Department of Commerce and the Director General of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). During the high-level meeting, the potential impact of ongoing geopolitical developments on India's exports was assessed.
