Mumbai, Aug. 5 -- The Maharashtra government is making a major digital leap by developing an AI-powered "super portal" for its Labour and Industry departments.
The portal, expected to be launched by September 2025, aims to simplify services, reduce paperwork, and enhance user experience for businesses and workers alike.
The state cabinet has approved a budget of Rs 4.95 crore for the project. Once launched, this single integrated portal will replace the need to visit multiple department websites.
It will use artificial intelligence to automate queries, assist users in real-time, and offer customised services based on user profiles and past interactions.
