New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh launched the Kapas Kisan mobile application, developed by the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) under the Ministry of Textiles.
The digital platform is designed to facilitate cotton procurement fr0m farmers under the Minimum Support Price (MSP) scheme, introducing automated processes for registration, scheduling, and payment tracking.
The mobile application enables farmers to independently register for cotton sales under the MSP framework, while providing digital slot booking capabilities at designated procurement centers.
