New Delhi, March 12 -- The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) has announced a waiver of storage or dwell time charges and reefer plug-in charges for Middle East-bound export containers stranded at the port due to ongoing geopolitical disruptions in the region. The relief measures have been issued through a trade notice following directives from the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to mitigate the impact of supply chain disruptions on the export-import (EXIM) community.
