Ranchi, April 24 -- The Jharkhand Cabinet has approved the Jharkhand Regularisation of Unauthorised Constructed Building Rules, 2025, paving the way for legalising certain unauthorised constructions across the state.
According to Sunil Kumar, Principal Secretary, State Urban Development department, under the new policy, buildings up to 10 metres in height, limited to G+2 structures, constructed without sanctioned plans will be eligible for regularisation, provided they do not violate other construction norms.
The move is expected to benefit a large number of property owners who have built structures without formal approvals.The policy will apply to both residential and commercial buildings constructed on plots of up to 300 square metre...
