New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- India called for greater regional cooperation on energy security, power transmission and clean energy at the 20th East Asia Summit (EAS) Energy Ministers' Meeting held in Manila, Philippines.

Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik represented India at the meeting and highlighted cooperation under the ASEAN-India Plan of Action 2026-2030, including the ASEAN Power Grid, regional power transmission, multilateral electricity trade, clean energy and energy security.
