New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- India and Rwanda held the first session of the Joint Trade Committee (JTC) in New Delhi on July 30-31, 2026, to review bilateral trade and investment and discuss cooperation in areas including critical minerals, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, agriculture, digital technologies and manufacturing.

The Indian delegation was led by Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Amit Kumar, while the Rwandan delegation was led by Director General, Asia, Pacific and Middle East Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Virgile Rwanyagatare.
