New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday met Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, to discuss bilateral trade, investment opportunities and broader economic cooperation.
During the meeting, Sitharaman highlighted the reforms and policy measures undertaken by India over the past decade to attract foreign investment.
Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations under the framework of the India-Qatar strategic partnership, the Finance Ministry said in a post on X.
