New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- India and Cambodia discussed measures to expand bilateral trade and investment at the third meeting of the Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment (JWGTI), held in Phnom Penh on August 24.

Bilateral trade between the two countries grew by over 36Percent to USD 406.78 million in FY 2025-26, compared with USD 299 million in the previous financial year. Trade during the April-June 2026 quarter recorded a further 63.25Percent year-on-year growth.

The meeting was co-chaired by Amit Verma, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Long Kemvichet, Director General of International Trade, Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce.
