Chandigarh, Sept. 18 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed officials to expedite construction of the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) near Maharaja Agrasen International Airport in Hisar, a project with an estimated investment potential of Rs 32,417 crore and employment potential of around 1.25 lakh jobs.

The directions were issued during a review of major development projects under the State Pragati Portal, where officials briefed the Chief Minister on the progress of the IMC and associated airport infrastructure.

First Phase Covers 1,578 Acres

The first phase of the IMC covers 1,578 acres, with the government having acquired 100 per cent of the required land. Environmental clearance has also been secured.
