Haryana Cabinet Clears EV Incentives For NCR, Transfer Reforms And Welfare Measures
Chandigarh, June 24 -- To improve air quality in the National Capital Region (NCR), the Haryana cabinet approved a full exemption from motor vehicle tax on the purchase of new BS-VI, electric and CNG trucks and buses that replace BS-IV and older vehicles.
Buyers of used vehicles under the scheme will receive a 50 per cent tax concession, while registration fees and pending liabilities older than one year will also be waived.
The scheme is expected to benefit more than 93,000 trucks and over 16,000 buses.

The Haryana cabinet also approved the Model Online Transfer Policy (MOTP) 2026 and the Teachers Transfer Policy (TTP) 2026, aimed at improving transparency and human resource utilisation in government departments....
