Govt Proposes New Guidelines To Standardise India's Skilling Ecosystem
New Delhi, June 20 -- The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has released a draft framework outlining a structured mechanism to identify and recognise permanent training institutions as Centres of Excellence-Skills (CoE-Skills) or Vocational Training Centres (VTCs).
The ministry has invited stakeholder feedback by June 28.
In a post on X, MSDE Minister of State (Independent Charge) Jayant Singh, said, "I invite industry leaders, academia, training institutions and other stakeholders to share their inputs on the Draft Guidelines."
