New Delhi, July 11 -- India has extended the anti-dumping duty on certain steel tubes and pipes imported from China until January 27, 2027, aiming to protect domestic manufacturers from low-priced imports, according to a notification by the Ministry of Finance.

The duty applies to seamless tubes, pipes and hollow profiles made of iron, alloy or non-alloy steel. It was originally imposed in October 2021 and has now been extended through an amendment issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC).

Duty Range and Objective
